little somethings press is closed for submissions for the inaugural issue.

What gnaws at your bones? What keeps you writing? This journal asked for all things flash and micro—memoir, fiction, and poetry—that delved into the grittiness and beauty (why not make room for some optimism) of modern life. Confessions, rants, lessons learned, rebirths, regrets, and anything else were welcome as long as they fit on one page.

Prose pieces are 300 words or less. Poetry is no longer than 12 lines.

The inaugural issue is printed in a hand-bound journal with cardboard covers featuring pen and ink and cut and paste illustrations. There will be bookmaking get-togethers to help assemble these beautiful books and a launch in July in Phoenix, Arizona.

Writers receive a contributor copy and can read at the journal’s launch.

All rights revert back to the author upon publication.
