little somethings press: a collection of small writings aims to highlight the growing wave of micro-literature from flash prose to micropoetry, while navigating the space between literary journals and zines. The bi-annual hand-bound journal will be published in July and February in the spirit of DIY, while showcasing high-quality work from around the globe.

founding editor:

Sophia McGovern is based out of Phoenix, Arizona and received Bachelor’s degrees in Global Studies and English with a concentration in creative writing from Arizona State University. She splits her time between teaching English and poetry, writing, and making zines with Water Sprouts Collective. Having worked with local presses and community organizations, she’s learned the power of storytelling both as an art form and form of advocacyHer own work was nominated for the 2017 Pushcart Prize, and can be found in Beautiful Cadavers Project Anthology, Uncomfortable Revolution, Crux Magazine, bioStories, and other publications.
